Two Ways to Renew Your Cashmere
Cashmere is a noble, natural, and living fiber: with the right care, Rovero garments preserve their beauty, softness, and brightness over time. Washing is not only about cleansing, it's about renewing the fibers, making them feel as fresh as the day you first wore them.

The most delicate and recommended method.
Hand Wash
Immerse the dry garment in a basin of lukewarm water (max 30°C / 86°F).
Gentle wash: add a small amount of neutral, delicate detergent. Press lightly with your hands, never rub or wring.
Rinse: rinse thoroughly in cold water. For the second rinse, add a pinch of sea salt: it helps preserve the natural shine of the yarn.
Drying: blot with a cotton towel, wrap it gently, and lay the garment flat on a surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

A practical alternative, if done carefully.
Machine Wash
Program: wool or delicate cycle, cold water or max 30°C / 86°F.
Detergent: neutral liquid detergent, small dose. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.
Protection: place the garment inside a mesh laundry bag.
Spin: very gentle or none at all (max 400–600 rpm).
Drying: always lay flat — never hang.
