Cashmere is a high-quality natural fiber taken from the undercoat of the Capra hircus laniger, a goat that lives in areas with extreme temperature swings between day and night. These conditions help produce a finer, more precious undercoat, known as the duvet. This luxurious fiber comes from different regions of China and Mongolia, where Cariaggi carefully selects only the best quality. In Italy, it’s processed using state-of-the-art technology to create a collection of premium yarns. CARDED YARN
The purpose of the carding process is to orient the fibers in a single direction.
The carded yarn fibers are dyed and then blended , ensuring a particularly brilliant multicolored effect. The shades of the carded yarn are created using the finest cashmere fibers selected in specific areas of the Inner Mongolian Empire .
