Two ways to regenerate your cashmere
Cashmere is a noble, natural, and "living" fiber: with proper care, Rovero garments retain their beauty, softness, and shine over time. Washing isn't just about cleaning: it's a way to regenerate the fibers, restoring the feeling of freshness you felt when you first wore them.

The most gentle and recommended method
Hand wash
Soaking : Place the dry garment in a basin of lukewarm water (max 30°C / 86°F).
Delicate wash : Add a small amount of neutral, gentle detergent. Press lightly with your hands, without rubbing or wringing.
Rinse : Rinse thoroughly in cold water. For the second rinse, add a pinch of sea salt: it helps preserve the yarn's natural luster.
Drying : pat dry with a cotton towel, wrap gently and lay flat on a surface, away from direct light and heat sources.

A practical alternative, if done carefully.
Machine wash
Programme: wool or delicate cycle, cold water or max 30°C / 86°F.
Detergent: Use a small amount of neutral liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleaches.
Protection: Place the garment in a mesh laundry bag.
Spin: very gentle or absent (max 400–600 rpm).
Drying: always flat - never hung.

ROVERO care tips
Don't wash cashmere too often: airing it often keeps it fresh. Always store it folded, never hanging it. A proper wash doesn't ruin it: it regenerates the fibers, restoring its softness and shine like new.
With these simple gestures, every ROVERO garment will accompany you over time with the same elegance as the first time.
